The Dimplex EF-12 is simple heater for controlling your energy bill. The heater has to separate heating elements, 1,000 watts is controlled by the built-in thermostat. This way you can keep the bathroom temperature in the 50's or 60's. When your ready for a shower turn the timer on for 1 to 60 minutes. This will start the second heating element giving you the full 2,000 watts or 6,824 BTU's of heat. After the timer runs down the heater goes back to your default thermostat temperature. This way you don't have worry about accidently keep the heater left on high heat.

What to look for when installing the wall heater in your bathroom.

- Keep it over 9 1/4 off the floor

- Keep it over 1" away from adjacent walls

- Keep in below 12" from the ceiling (not recommended to mount it this high)

Do not install is behind a towel rack, behind a door, in the floor, in the ceiling, or where air flow may be obstructed.
